If you are carrying a burden of worry or spend too much energy listening to the woes of our world, take heart! Firstly, we hope we can be a small candle of hope in your life. Secondly, we hope you will be encouraged enough to share these inspirations with others!  Be kind to yourself.

Be fearless be brave be strong - remember always

Be fearless. Be brave. Be strong. Remember always.

Sometimes seeing a phrase can be a moment of self-assessment and resolve. In this case, you might wonder what it means to be fearless, brave and strong. Perhaps its what is NOT:

Its not giving up or throwing in the towel. Its not focusing on what you do not have or what kind of obstacles stand in your way.

It is changing your focus and recognizing you can:

  • think about ways to inspire others with kindness – and courage
  • stand up in spite of your hardship
  • rely on your faith in God’s plan for your life – even as the storm rages around you

Can you be brave? Yes! Its time to be courageous.

Joshua 1:9 New International Version (NIV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Be kind to yourself,

Joy to the World the Lord has come

Joy to the world the Lord has come!

Joy to the World; The Lord is come;
Let Earth receive her King:
Let every Heart prepare him Room,
And Heaven and Nature sing.

Joy to the Earth, The Saviour reigns;
Let Men their Songs employ;
While Fields & Floods, Rocks, Hills & Plains
Repeat the sounding Joy.

Be Joyful! The Lord has come!

Let kindness be your best gift

Let kindness be your best gift

Do you have a wish list? You know, the list you have carefully curated to contain all the things you are hoping to possess?

Maybe you call it Santa’s wish list and sent it in a letter addressed to the North Pole. Or maybe Amazon keeps your list organized for you to share it with family and friends. Or perhaps, you keep it a secret and write it in your journal for only your eyes to see.

Is your list a long one with a hundred items you hope will be yours? Or is it a small list of a few little things that you have your heart set upon?

Is kindness on your wish list? If its not, add it. And then watch for it! And then be sure and hand it out generously to everyone you come in contact!

Be kind to yourself,
